About Us • The Leicester Bookbinding Group was formed by attendees at the bookbinding class run by Leicester College when the class was closed due to budget cuts. • The group is a members co-operative dedicated to the provision of training and facilities for bookbinders of any skill level or experience. • Tuition at the class is provided by Nick Wells, and experienced bookbinder who taught bookbinding for a number of years at Leicester College. Nick is now a freelance bookbinder. • We provide tuition for all level of bookbinding from complete novice to specialist conservation and art bookbinding. • If you would like to find out more about the group and try a free taster class where you will have the chance to bind a book of your own, please contact our chairman.
